If you are planning to stay in Wellington for a while there is budget accommodation available in The Carillon Long Stay rooms.
Long Stay Room rates start from $180 per week and are limited to people planning to stay a minimum of at least one month, preferably 3 months or more.
These rooms provide long-term accommodation for backpackers, international travellers and students studying at the local Language Colleges which are 5 minutes walking distance away. They are also handy for Massey University students and other visitors who find Wellington just too hard to leave.
Previous tenants have included actors, poets, touring musicians and other bohemian types.
If you want to live right in the heart of the vibrant Upper Cuba Street Quarter - a Carillon Long Stay room is probably the place for you.
All rooms are self service and have their own bathroom and a TV. Long stay residents have the use of a fully equipped kitchen. Wireless internet for laptops/iPhones etc is available.
Off-street parking is available at an extra $10 per week.
